Airline Traveling with E-Tickets

When we ticket your reservation, we will send you an email confirmation. If you confirmation indicates you are traveling with e ticket, all you need to do is print your confirmation e-mail and take it to the airport with you. When you check in at the airport, you will need to present a valid form of photo ID such as a driver ' s license or passport.

For most itineraries, you may also go to www.checkmytrip.com to view and print your e ticket. The e-ticket is now the standard ticket format for most airlines, making flight ticketing more flexible and secure.

An e-ticket is an electronic ticketing system that securely stores all ticket details in the airline computer system. Rather than being issued a paper ticket, which must be mailed to you, your booking and ticket details are kept securely on the airline computer system. And you are sent an e-ticket Receipt.

With an e-ticket there ' s no paper ticket to lose and in many cases, you may check in at a self service kiosk at selected airports or.

Airline Taxes

  • Federal segment fee of up to $3.20 that will be imposed on each flight segment. Flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.
  • Government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $5 one-way, $10 roundtrip.
  • Airport assessed Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs) of up to $18.

Airline Military Fares

No. Unfortunately, we're not able to process military discounts or special military fares at this time.

Eligibility and restrictions for military personnel vary from airline to airline.  Please call the airline directly for these types of fares.

We do suggest you check the fares online at Discount-airfare.com, as there may be published fares or special web fares that might be lower than a military fare.

Airline Senior Fares

No. Unfortunately, we're not able to process senior discounts or special senior fares at this time.

Unaccompanied Minors

  • Each airline has its own rules, regulations, and definitions for unaccompanied minors.
  • Some airlines require that unaccompanied minors travel on non-stop flights only and/or do not travel on the last flight of the day.
  • If you want to purchase a ticket for an unaccompanied minor, you should book this directly through the airline.
  • DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS ON THIS SITE. All airlines charge a service fee for unaccompanied children which is payable only at the airport.

Airline Seats, Meals, FF Mileage

You may put your request for seats, Meals, and FF mileage when you make your reservation, but we cannot guarantee that your request will be honored. You may call the airline directly for your requests.

Airline Check-In:

Minimum check-in time for domestic flights: 1 to 1 1/2 hours; 2 hours for international flights.

Airline Required Documents

Government issued Picture I.D. is required for all domestic flights. (please check directly with the airline for child ID requirements). Passports and visas (when required) are mandatory for everyone on all international flights.

Airline Reconfirm your flights

Your should reconfirm your flight times directly with the airline at least 48 hours prior to departure, both on your outbound and on your return. Please be advised that if you make your reservation several months in advance, the chances are greater than not that you will have a flight time or flight number change. Airline Service Charges

If a service fee applies it is possible you will see 2 charges on your credit card. One charge is for the fare and taxes the 2nd for the service fee. However both charges will equal the total price you agreed to pay.

Airline Refunds

We want you to know all of the details before purchasing your discount airfare ticket. If others are traveling with you, you as the credit card holder are accepting the following responsibilities.

  • Refunds. Cancel and change penalties are outlined prior to your final purchase. Please note these are minimum penalties, and do not include fare increases. If an airline waives all penalties, you will still incur a minimum of $75 per person service fee from this agency.
  • If you fail to show up for your flight, and have not cancelled directly with the airline prior to the flight ' s departure, your tickets have no value.
  • Airline tickets are never transferable to another person.
  • The passenger is responsible for all travel documents and information, including but not limited to: Passports / Visas / Transit Visas / Immunizations required and / or recommended / baggage limitations / state department warnings.
  • Passenger is required to call the airline directly for:
  • Seat Assignments
  • Special Meals
  • Any other special requests such as wheelchair, etc.
  • YOU MUST reconfirm your flights directly with the airlines at least 24 hours prior to departure AND return. Your airline may change the time you depart, as well as the flight number.
  • You may purchase flight cancellation and / or interruption insurance for your tickets through independent sources.

Change Airline Tickets

  • The tickets you are about to purchase cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable / non-transferable.
  • Change (if allowed) refers to the dates of travel only.
  • Changes can not be made to the passenger names.
  • Changes can not be made to the departure and destination cities or the routing.
  • Changes to the travel dates may carry penalties of up to 100% of the purchase price plus any fare difference at the time the changes are made and any applicable service fee.
  • Changes made after departure are subject to applicable airline rules and penalties, and are handled directly with the airlines.

Airline ‘no show’

If a passenger does not show for their flight and does not notify the airline prior to no showing the flight, the passenger assumes all responsibility for any change or cancel fee and/or possible loss of ticket value. This no show policy is an airline enforced rule and at their discretion to determine how they will deal with it. However, most airlines look at no shows as a violation of their ticket policies and means the forfeiture of any and all funds paid for said ticket.
